Chicken recipe from Chinese food restaurant??

I love eating at chinese food buffets, and I've been to a few that have this chicken that's on a skewer. It has a slightly sweet %26amp; savory sauce, not a lot, just coated.

It's the best, If anyone has a recipe for this please help me out!! Thanks!Chicken recipe from Chinese food restaurant??
teryiaki chicken sticks... mmm

CHINESE CHICKEN ON A STICK

1/4 c. soy sauce

1/3 c. brown sugar

1/2 tsp. ground ginger

20-24 cubes chicken (1 whole boneless chicken breast)

To make teriyaki sauce, measure soy sauce, brown sugar and ginger into the fondue pot or sauce pan. Mix them well. Thread 5-6 chicken pieces on each skewer. Leave a little space between the pieces. Put the chicken into the refrigerator until ready to cook. Pour about half the teriyaki sauce into a plate. Save rest for a dipping sauce.

Turn the skewered chicken around in the sauce until all pieces are coated. Lay 2 of the skewer on a paper towel and microwave the skewered chicken on high for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until cooked through. Repeat for other skewers. To eat, remove chicken from skewers onto trays. Use long forks to dip chicken pieces in the teriyaki sauce that is still in fondue pot or bowlChicken recipe from Chinese food restaurant??
These chicken kebabs only need about 30 minutes to marinade. This is a great quick recipe that you can put together after work.

INGREDIENTS:

1 1/2 pounds of skinless and boneless chicken breasts

1 small bunch of green onions, cut into 1 inch pieces

1/2 cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons sugar

1 teaspoon oil

1 teaspoon fresh ginger root, minced

1 clove garlic, minced

PREPARATION:

Cut Chicken into 1 1/2 inch pieces. Tread onto skewers, alternating with green onion pieces. Place in a shallow baking dish. Combine soy sauce, sugar oil, ginger and garlic. Mix well and pour over skewers coating the chicken evenly. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Preheat grill and place skewers over medium high heat. Grill for about 4 minutes, turn and brush with remaining marinade. Grill an additional 4 minutes, or until done.

I use my own recipe, it's also good on ribs

Take some Ketchup- Soy Sauce-Syrup ( whatever kind you have on hand) and for added dash HOT sauce, stir together and baste over chicken/ribs
