Nutritious Puppy Food Recipes.?

I have a 17 week old yorkie puppy. When i got him i started out mixing the food his breeder gave him with the Iams puppy food. Well the Iams didn't agree with him. So far we've tried Iams, Nutro Ultra(all-natural) , and he's had bad diarrhea and vomiting due to BOTH foods. Now i've been giving him brown rice and boiled chicken for 2 days and he's done wonderfully! Does anyone have some nutritious recipes for my baby, I've decided to not give him anymore dog food.Nutritious Puppy Food Recipes.?
A great tip: If the first five ingredients of a dog food has corn, corn meal or any corn by-product listed, then it is not a good food.





My last dog did exactly what you dog is doing because she was not getting the proper nutrition. She died very young.

Dog food recipe ingredients:





* 2 1/4 cups whole wheat flour


* 1/2 cup nonfat powdered milk


* 1 large egg


* 1/3 cup mashed ripe banana

* 1/4 cup vegetable oil


* 1/2 cup chicken broth





Dog food recipe directions:


Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.





Mix all ingredients until will blended. Knead for 2 minutes on a floured surface.please consult a vet or veterinary nutritionist to learn about how to feed your dog a nutritionally balanced diet.





Roll to 1/4'; thickness. Cut into cookies using a bone-shaped cookie cutter, and place on ungreased cookie sheets.

At the kennel I work at we mix cottage cheese, pumpkin and yogurt, and mix it in with the dog food if dogs wont eat. (sometimes when a dog gets dropped off to be boarded, they stop eating, and its not good.) We just mix it all together and blend it. Low fat, always! and if you can afford organic pumpkin go for it.
