what I did was go to Babies r' Us and buy a food grinder, this mashes the food into a pulp and you can pretty much mash up anything, so what I would cook for the family, veggies fruits, pastas whatever, he would get too just mooshe up. I didn't use any recipes except my own.
te only thing you need to be awrre of are not giving your child anything they aren't supposed to have til a year old (assuming they are under a year) tomatoes, shellfish, nuts, strawberries,chocolate, (because of allergy possibilities)
you don't need recipes...just continue to cook good and simple foods at home and blend/mash them well and don' tmake them too spicy. i made all my baby's foods while i was at home - - different veggies, friuts( try the different ones alone b4 you make any combos of them), pasta is good, rice and potato can feel grainy and they may not like it, yogurts and baby cereals blend well with f+v's to make more of a meal.......good luck

Babies 'R' Us sells a book filled with recipes for homemade baby food. I don't know the name of the book offhand, but if you have a Babies 'R' Us store nearby, you can ask an employee to point the book out to you.

All you need is a steamer or a microwave oven and microwave safe bowls and a blender, if you're doing apples, peel the apple, slice it, place a large microwave safe bowl half full of water in the microwave, get a smaler dish, put the apples in it and microwave on high 2-5 minutes (after two minutes check to see how soft the apple is then add 30 minutes) When the apple is soft enough to be pureed in the blender transfer it to the blender and puree, when it reaches the desired consistency stop the blender and spoon out the apple into a small dish. I did this with all fruites veggies we ate as well as meats, my daughter also ate home made pasta which I would cut up into smaller sizes for her to eat, consequently my daughter was never a ';picky'; eater, even in friends homes or restaurants. She was eating escargot (snails) in a French restaurant at the age of 10 (a time when most kids would say EEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWW)
