yes.. i sort of like the sausage roll...


buy any canned bisquit thing.. and a package of hotdogs.. and cut dogs in half...


place half a dog in the roll and roll up..


bake as called for on the bisquit package..


then you can use toothpicks and cheese and olives, ends of chives. etc to get creative to make the eyes, faces, and tails...





or you could make just meatballs and sort of elongate them like football shapes (torpedo shaped) and bake them..


and use pretzels and olives etc to make legs, tails etc...Its for a kids Roman Feast, I need a recipe for a food item that looks like door mice?

A Roman Feast sounds like lots of fun, wish I was there to see everyone in their togas!
You can always go to a pet store and buy a bunch of real mice. They're sold as food for people's pet snakes.
