Have you ever made beer-can chicken? It's one of my favorite grill recipes, and it's wonderfully moist and flavorful! Here's a link to the directions:

I usually just use my favorite seasoned salt in the beer can and on the skin.
Grilling is always popular, how about steaks or shish kabobs?
Stuffed french toast is a great breakfast. Slice a loaf of french bread into 2 inch slices, then cut a ';pocket partway in each slice. Stuff the pocket with your favorite meat %26amp; cheese combo (we like bacon %26amp; cheddar and ham %26amp; swiss best). Dip each one into beaten egg, and fry like normal french toast. Kids go crazy for these, too!

The best crab boil You may cut the recipe in half since you are only 2 people

You will need a 60 quart pot and something to stir with. An outdoor cooker is nice. Fill 60 quart pot with 5 gallons of water. Add Louisiana boil and Trappey's hot sauce. Bring to a boil and add onion, garlic, potatoes and artichokes. Cook 12 minutes. (Note: Dave says as you are adding ingredients start your cook times based on after water comes back to boil. Make sure now more than 6 minutes on boil on the shrimp or they will get tough.)Then add corn, mushrooms, sausage and crabs. Cook 7 minutes. Then add Shrimp. Cook 6 minutes. Turn off heat and let stand for 5 minutes. Then pour out on newspaper and enjoy!! It's all good.

The BEST
French Toast Recipe courtesy Alton Brown, 2003 Level: Easy Serves: 4
鈥? cup half-and-half
鈥? large eggs
鈥? tablespoons honey, warmed in microwave for 20 seconds
鈥?/4 teaspoon salt
鈥? (1/2-inch) slices day-old or stale country loaf, brioche or challah bread
鈥? tablespoons butter
Directions
In medium size mixing bowl, whisk together the half-and-half, eggs, honey, and salt. You may do this the night before. When ready to cook, pour custard mixture into a pie pan and set aside.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Dip bread into mixture, allow to soak for 30 seconds on each side, and then remove to a cooling rack that is sitting in a sheet pan, and allow to sit for 1 to 2 minutes.
Over medium-low heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a 10-inch nonstick saute pan. Place 2 slices of bread at a time into the pan and cook until golden brown, approximately 2 to 3 minutes per side. Remove from pan and place on rack in oven for 5 minutes. Repeat with all 8 slices. Serve immediately with maple syrup, whipped cream or fruit.
If the crab boil is too much, make a paella dish:

For the crab boil you can use a coffee filter (tied ant top) instead of cheesecloth or muslin.
Try tossing some walnuts, cilantro or shredded coconut in your fruit salad.
