Cat food recipe?

hi, i have 7 cats and need a good recipe for something i can make in bulk and freeze. Im sick of giving them can food because it makes them stink and costs too much. I wanna make something like a fish stew or a meaty mix they will like. All my cats are spoiled and a bit fussy so it must be a real recipe that my cats like. Thanks..Cat food recipe?
just quick FYI...Fish is not a complete diet, and is not really good to feed a cat on a regular basis- as its missing alot of necessary nutrients. Even vets say to feed fish max once a week. If you want to feed fish- make sure its mixed wiht a very good protein (such as chicken/beef)

You'll need to add the vitamins and minerals to whatever you cook up, or you'll see nutritional deficiencies showing up pretty quickly.

You can't just make a ';Fish Stew'; or a ';Meaty Mix'; of whatever and feed it to your cats. You have to feed them a balanced diet based on Meat, Bones and Organs. You should also add in suppliments or a daily multi vitamin.





All that said... it's not as complicated as it sounds once you have a clue about what you should be doing.





I personally feed a ground Raw Meat, Bones and Organ based diet to my cats and they are incredibly healthy on it. I HIGHLY recommend it. While scary at first, once I got the hang of it and felt comfortable with it it's a snap to prepare.





Cats are obligate carnivores after all and must derive ALL their nutrients from meat based sources. They are unable to absorb them from any other source. Despite thousands of years of domestication they remain strictly carnivorous. True and honest meat eaters and that is what they need most. Protein from meat!
